https://storjstat.com is still running without any legal issue.
There is a clause in the terms that allows the creator of such a domain to ask permission from Storj Labs, which may be how the creator of storjstat.com got this accepted. OP´s formal request already has been forwarded to the team for consideration. Though it is likely that using a domain where only the extension is different from our official web site would not be acceptable.
