I’m getting about 3 vetting audits per day on US1 on a node with a dedicated IP and no neighbors. Is this the new standard? Does a new node now take months to get vetted on US1?
3 audits per day × 30 days in a month = 90… close to 100.
x10. us1 need 1000 now
Why worry about it? How much is difference in ingress for vetted nodes atm.
I’d say, why worry about it, period. Who cares. It’s internal node business, between node and storj. Does not affect an operator in any way, non-actionable noise.
To me, the difference in ingress data seems important
Why does it seem important to you? What is the actual reason? You can’t do anything about it. Why waste cycles thinking about it ?
Is this the new standard? this is the question. Is going to change? Is it temporary? Will it get worse?
Its the new standard, it should take about a month: What is the new vetting time? - #6 by elek
For lost traffic the idea is nodes are supposed to be around for years and years, so a few extra weeks of lost ingress wont have a long term impact.
I agree with you now. On the other hand when I setup first node… I was as well eager to be vetted, to get 1st paycheck, to…
It take you a while to understand that observing a node is as funny as looking as grass grow
