Using NTFS on other OSes

NTFS on linux is not that great, never has been.
How is NTFS on FreeBSD?

This is a wrong question to ask. A lot of value getting away from windows comes from not having to deal with NTFS. It’s fragile on windows. There is no spec.

Furthermore, it’s proprietary Microsoft filesystem. Linux implementations are based on reverse engineering. It’s a non-starter right there.

In FreeBSD, ZFS is first class citizen.

Well… alexey did try and move to NTFS on Ubuntu on one of his comments, he actually went to great lengths to move the data and everything to ext4… this is what I was asking about if NTFS was much better on FreeBSD, because there is BSD for RPi4 I think.
