What happen on an upgrade fail for that STORJ is responsible?

Storj is distributing many updates right now, what if one of this updates is destructive? The updates get installed automatically by watchtower, and the node can’t be recovered because it was a coding/development failure.

In normal cases my reputation and escrow is gone, but if I am not the responsible of this bug, why should my money be gone?

What is the process if that happen?
