What happen on an upgrade fail for that STORJ is responsible?

Storj is distributing many updates right now, what if one of this updates is destructive? The updates get installed automatically by watchtower, and the node can’t be recovered because it was a coding/development failure.

In normal cases my reputation and escrow is gone, but if I am not the responsible of this bug, why should my money be gone?

What is the process if that happen?

Hey @blackduck we mentioned this to the VP of engineering, who said that the plan is

(bearing in mind that plans can change if we think of a better way to address the issue)

that’s a great question - when we get real automatic updates we’re going to do rolling updates with a bleeding edge channel and a test channel and so on"
