As long as these are just simple GETs, not GET_REPAIR or GET_AUDIT, not a problem. I see the same on my nodes, customers sometimes try fetching files that they have already deleted.

When you say ‘a lot’ - how many? It could be worth checking the drive/disk storing the data for consistency.
