Ugh! Mentioning a 7x growth with 20% monthly increases is a kick in the teeth beating in mind I see a very different picture on my nodes.

With the rollercoaster we’ve been on with used-space: I’d be surprised if any setup could gain more than about 400TB/year. Even our mascot has gone backwards several hundred TB lately.

Growth has only been flat for about 3 months: if you wait long enough other SNOs will leave first and you’ll get their repair traffic

My used space shrinked with 1.5TB last month.
From 107TB… Old nodes lost data, newer nodes gained some.

My calculation from the stats page is saying that in 2024 so far we are below that required target.

You never know, if the displayed data is correct or if there is another glitch, but from this chart we have effectively lost over 2PB of customer data since Apr 30th.

I didn’t think what you said could possibly be true. Then I actually looked at the charts… and yeah… I think December is going to start with the same TB-used as November did

Yeah the estimation is similar for me, which makes sense given the current traffic. Honestly as long as it doesn’t decrease too much I’m fine with it.

On my oldest node:

Apr 30: ~9.19TB
Oct 11: ~8.13TB

On another node:

Apr 30: ~3.07TB
Oct 11: ~3.93TB

You win some and you lose some I guess.

We had tons of organic ingress around this time last year for a couple of months, all we can do is just pray I guess.

And additionally I am seeing 81.0 PB of free space. Grafana
So no, I am not just talking about my nodes.
