My vote, btw, is probably “never percent” because I wouldn’t view the storj token as an investment but a utility.

It won’t. That node won’t get any traffic It would lose close to 100% of races.
Technically it could work in my opinion. All it needs is a small write cache (SSD or RAM)
The problem is not writes. Your node will not be getting paid for egress, because it will be the slowest. And then, I assume satellite will also stop giving you data because you always lose (not sure if that’s th current behavior – but it shall be)
Did you include revenue from data that your node would be pushing to the network?

locked, would not be a selling point for me, it has to be liquid so i can get out anytime i want
on top of that i want to be able to see daily gains if i stake my Storj, it does not have to be much, just a little
