I started a node for about a week, but one day it went down due to a power outage and I didn’t notice for two days. I have set up downtime notifications now with downtime robot, but now my node’s uptime is at 96%. How does this effect my node? Will it reset after a while?
It will impact your reputation, but reputation recovers fairly quickly. The percentages shown on the dashboard are not the same as your reputation score and those percentages are life time number which aren’t all that relevant long term. Your node should be fine if you keep it online from now on. Luckily disqualification based on down time is currently disabled. In the future long down time like this could cause your node to be disqualified. But it sounds like you already took measures to prevent repeated issues.
