You cannot choose a specific satellite. As long as you are not disqualified from any satellite, all will be used.
So none gives better advantages where the server is located?

No. Every satellite is used and each satellite has its own payout. As an SNO, you cannot determine which satellite is used.
When the node is running, there is not much you can do except watch the logs to make sure everything is OK.
