Why FIL overtake STORJ on coinmarketcap?

I’ve checked Filecoin (FIL) and did’t find anything special. They have linux and mac nodes only, high requires for beginners and deposit system for miners. It’s a not a future of decentralized cloud I think…

Can anyone tell me why FIL in top 50 in coinmarketcap but STORJ is not?

Maybe because you don’t have to buy into Storj token to run a node.

I wonder the same thing all the time! Storj (is now) a far superior technical offering. It baffles me too!

In the last 3 months, the real usability of Filecoin is only $ 7/day for the upload of new data, everything else is speculation:

May be it’s Storj is real storage service and filecoin is like a mining over ipfs?

Filecoin is all hype, this type of project spends most of it’s time and money on hyping the product, getting the right influencers and investors to back it basically, marketing out the ass but with no real substance or real world application. Plus China factor.
