They can dilute the stack, since it’s obvious - due to this bankruptcy - that they spent all funds from treasury - there is nothing left.
Do the math, they could possibly collect on the last remaining outstanding tokens - wiping out the token and desperately cashing out. I have not read the governance, so this is likely hyperbole.
FFS, people are ignorant. The entire token is at stake here, do not be a sheeple. This is not fearmongering, it’s a full on possibility.
Absolutely no obscene language was used. Just don’t lie. (there was an implication (common on these forums), but obviously you were personally offended, thanks now I know who it was.)
I can edit as much as you do, thanks. Nice edit.. maybe get a degree in law, and help yourself.
Everyone can start by claiming their known owing to community@storj - as per your own reference.
I can see the reason a forum member chose for the flag (there are several), and I sent you a private message asking you to remove the obscene words, so I think that’s the reason. My personal opinion isn’t particularly important here; it’s just the forum rules.
Sorry, I have a question for those who are certainly more knowledgeable than me. Last month, I changed the wallet address on all my nodes. To be paid to the new address, do I have to wait for the pooling and preparation of this month’s payments, or can I possibly shut down some nodes? I have to do this because I have to do a site migration, and they will be shut down for about 15 days, specifically during this month’s payment phase.
If you changed a wallet before the end of the month - it will be used for the coming payout. Just make sure that your nodes checked in on all satellites, i.e. being online.
Some figured out, that sometimes you might have a chance to get used a new wallet address even in the beginning of the month, before the calculation has started.
Okay, yes, I changed the wallet in the middle of last month, putting it in the Docker string. In fact, I see the new wallet on every node’s home page. So, since I immediately reactivated them with the new wallet and they’ve been connected since the 15th of last month without a downtime, it means the new wallet has already been communicated to Storj Inc. So, if I shut them down tomorrow for about 10 days to physically move them, I should receive payment for these nodes even if they’re turned off. Is my assumption correct?
Yes, everything should go smooth, just put them online as soon as possible. There are a good portion of a repair traffic going on, so don’t miss your opportunity to take it.
Thanks so much for the suggestion. It’s something I’ve already considered, but I’ve done it before, so I know these rules. I’ve been a SNO since 2020.
Great community, always helpful. I’ll be here until the end of time.
I guess I will use this thread for a short update. I got the confirmation that the storagenode payout is part of the filing as well as the importance. It is now up to the judge to decide. We expect to hear from the court by the end of the week.
Has there been consideration how the payment will be carried out?
Does Storj still have the tokens available or do they need to buy them on the market?
If the latter is the case could market reactions happen, like higher volatiliy and high prices if Storj starts to buy tokens? Also if SNOs start to sell there could be another round of volatiliy this time downwards. Maybe it will be impossible to sell at all depending on the market?
These are just my thoughts on the process in the current situation.
Interesting as judge tooke additional time till 24.08 this mean that we will not be paid till this time
Is there any info about this from storj? or payouts was approved on previous hearing.
Well I’m still trying to figure out why I still have a “Held Amount” after 1 year and 1 month of operation (based on first contact). It isn’t a lot of money, but it is something. I thought the StorJ written agreement that I read stated is was 9 months and there is no longer a held amount.
