Will there be GUI install tools and dashboard for less techie folks?

Will there be a dashboard to let me easily see my reputation and other stats? Will the install and other tools be made useable for slightly less techie folks who still have the spare HD space and network connectivity?

Operators are going to get a lot of new functionality we’re gonna actually be adding new features and things to the storage dashboard the storage show dashboard is a graphical user interface that we released last week for hit node operators to be able to get more information and data about how their node is doing on the network aside from that we’re gonna be launching support for Windows Home so this includes a Windows installer and auto updater so that more storage node operators can join the network and then we’re gonna be enabling garbage collection for all storage nodes on the network garbage collection is just a component that we use to ensure that every last piece that swords are storing they’re getting paid for and sometimes if your know goes offline momentarily you may you know not receive a delete request so garbage collection is just an offline function that deletes those pieces Tardigrade users are also going to get a good deal of new functionality

“so we announced the SNO dashboard last week it was launched pushed into production and the snow dashboard gives you a bunch of awesome information about how your node is doing on the network in relation to each of the satellites that it’s connected to so it tells you your information about your nodes reputation information about your nodes bandwidth and disk utilization and we plan on enhancing the SNO dashboard a lot more in the future it’s probably the feature that I’ve been most excited for the last few weeks because it just gives our storage operators so much more control over their over their nodes so if you have ideas about things that you’d like to see on the SNO dashboard please visit ideas.storj.io and submit those so we could get those added to our product development roadmap and hopefully make the storage nodes more empowered”

“So yeah I’m so glad that someone asked about this question as we talked earlier in the Town Hall we recently released the SNO dashboard which allows you to get more information about how your node is doing its reputation and what your resource allocations look like we’re also planning on releasing a Windows Home installer wizard so we can add support for Windows Home so that we can have more storage join the network”

“So adding a little bit to that so there are really two dashboard projects going on right now one is the SNO board which gets you stats on your specific inode and then another dashboard that my team is working on that gives you a little bit more insight into the public stats of the network so both of those are in progress and we hope to the SNO board was this put out quite recently so you can go check that out and that hopefully should address some of your concerns in terms of seeing the stats that you want on your personal load and very soon we’ll also have that public dashboard so you can see some of more of the networks that’s that you may be curious about.”
