Hi, there’s a wrong online-score report for my node on Saltlake satellite, only on it. Others satellites reports are fine. Could you investigate please ?
You may check when your node was not available:
After that you can analyze your firewall or router logs why it was rejecting connections from these satellites on that time.
Maybe it would be better to rename the online score to sth like satellite connectivity score?
Why?
Is it not self-explanatory enough? You have a bad online score - there is a problem to keep your node online. No?
Because “being online” is not a term with a widely-accepted precise definition. I can “be online” while behind a NAT because my browser words.
Alternatively, if there is such a nice page that describes the methodology of this metric, maybe it should be linked in the dashboard.

As you can see, your node was not available on these dates. The reason is unknown from the satellites point of view. So you need to check why is it happened.

I do not have an idea, how to describe it in the one page. We have many pages, each describes the own “metric”, but no one which have the consolidated one. Could you please create a PR??
Usually if I have a network problem or an interruption in storj service, it impacts all the satellites.
I have another node on other port on the same switch, I have no reported incidents with Saltlake.

I meant the page you linked.
Nothing unusual, each satellite is independent from each other, so they audit your node in a different time and with a different frequency. Also your router, firewall, antivirus, ISP, etc. may block “suspicious” traffic from the specific source IP ranges for example.
Oh, I’m sorry, I finally got what do you mean. I thought for some reason that you suggesting to create a page where all metrics are explained together…
I would pass your suggestion to link it on the dashboard to the team

I especially think that there is such a high data rate at the moment on the nodes because of the “great purge” that there must be some ISP blocks totally beyond the control of all of us.
I’ve never seen my online-scoring move on a day-to-day basis like this, it’s inconsistent given the stability of the connection here.
It should go back to normal when the full storage will be rebalanced on all the nodes and it stops yo-yoing
