We are still working on this issue. You and maybe 7 other users had a bill that was higher than it should have been that we will refund. We want to make sure the bug doesnât happen again and are still working on that.
The issue is this - it appears we have always had a bug for when users have a bucket, delete the bucket, then later bring a new bucket back with the same name. In rare cases, our accounting software would assume that the bucket had just existed for that entire time. We have logic to handle this but it appears it doesnât cover all of the bases. However, we recently made a change (actually the one Alexey linked) that has made the circumstances for this first bug more likely. It appears you (and yeah, like, 7 other people) got charged a few dollars extra over the years, but since it was a small amount and happened infrequently, we didnât notice until your bug report. Your specific issue appears to be one of the cases where the circumstances are now more frequent.
This bug is nuanced and slightly more challenging to fix than Iâd like. Most of our system does (clearly incorrectly) assume that a bucket of a specific name in a specific project is always the same. There are a number of book keeping places that need to be updated to account for this nuance.
So, weâre still working through making sure we do correct accounting for next billing cycle, but yes, you are specifically on my radar and weâll be issuing a refund.

The month of April had a case where you restored a long-deleted bucket, and the month of May also did, yes. We have not yet deployed a fix or adjusted your balances. We will get it fixed soon!
Due to minimum 5$ fee I leave storage. I paid now 8 $ to much and get a refund in Storj tokens on my account. Please charge back the 8$ on my credit card. It was a bug on Storj side. I want my money back in $. I want to leave the network at all now
