Hello guys!
I have built a system for managing Storj nodes. When you have many of them, manual management becomes a nightmare, so I made an interface for myself.
What’s inside
Drag-and-drop: drag a node card from one pool to another — the system will copy data, verify integrity, and switch the service. No scripts, no SSH.
Disk rebalancing: select overfilled disks, press a button — the system calculates which nodes to move where. Supports ZFS send/receive and rsync, automatic method selection.
IP addresses: see all addresses and nodes on them, drag-and-drop reassignment, batch apply with optional redeploy.
Process monitoring: real-time migration tracking (preparation, copying, verification), redeploy statuses, batch operation progress.
Screencast
In the video I show the entire interface: dragging nodes, batch rebalancing with automatic calculation, how the system selects migration methods, etc. If you manage multiple nodes — it’ll be useful.
@arrogantrabbit, pls don’t open the hell portal — I have no rollback plan for that ![]()
