I’ve noticed this evening my connection is getting hammered with ingress at a rate of 6gb a day and 2gb of repair bandwidth is the repair bandwidth coming from nodes leaving the network or something wrong on my end?
Sounds pretty low in terms of ingress 30gb with 4 gb repair here. 100/40 mbits connection.
60+gb/day also was normal someday back

The repair service is used not only to repair a lost data, but also for geofencing requests.

But the upload spikes are still wondering:
One single node can draw an entire 40 mbit/s connection. And this is recent coming in July 2023. Mostly from quitting nodes I guess.
I dont see that node amount is dropping lot, almost nothing, but may be GE takes time.
I read a post that nodes have went down by 20%
we near 21,9k nodes, only around 200 nodes go down.

Bro… it’s just that repair traffic has returned on the European satellite.
US is not all the world, it is only small part.
