Sorry messed the Numbers around. Fixed
No worries. Yes, I’ve got 68:67 (see above post screenshot).
Donyou need to choose what computer that port should open up to in your router
Node1 and Node2 are on the same server - different HDDs. So, I should only need to expand the port range on the router - which I did.
My gateway need an ip to send to thats why I asked.
I forget that setting myself every time
Have you done this part to?
Setup Dynamic DNS Service: Dynamic Update Client Tool
Yes. As noted in my previous posts, my Node1 is happy.
Hmm.
Right spelling with ddns address and port on ddns suplier.
Firewall open
Just trying to exclude problems
Your docker run looks good
Yeah it’s getting strange now. You could try switching the ports of both nodes and see what happens If your 1st node refuses to get online with the port that the 2nd node had, then it must be something related to that port… Grasping for straws lol
The config script is a copy/paste/edit of Node1’s. No firewall.
I don’t want to switch ports as that might create an audit problem.
Audit is done per nodeid, not port or address.
How many files do you have in your Node2 identity folder? 4 or 6?
6 per node. Each have own
Yep. Read that on another post. I have an identity problem. Who am I?
Fixing it now.
STORJ should really implement a check for this scenario as it is quite easy to detect and warn the user…
So, regarding this script:
./identity_linux_amd64 authorize storagenode
Should that be left as-is, or should I change it to “storagenode2” to be consistent with my config?
I think you can är in the log if the identitet isnt signed.
What did the log say?
Storagenode2. Keep it simple. And same name per new node
