I changed ISP and cant get my nodes running

Hey all. I changed ISP today and payed for a static IP. The ISP told me this:
Be aware that you will still get an Internal IP on your equipment, which is statically NATed to your external IP.

So what i did was give my machine (the pc) a static ip: 192.168.0.199
I then port forwarded 192.168.0.199 to 28968 ~ 28968. So the port forward “should” work right?

My public static ip is: 83.89.251.1xx

So my Storj launch setting is:
docker run -d --restart unless-stopped --stop-timeout 300 -p 28968:28967/tcp -p 28968:28967/udp -p 127.0.0.1:14003:14002 -e WALLET=“XX” -e EMAIL=“XX” -e ADDRESS=“83.89.251.1xx:28968” -e STORAGE=“10TB” --mount type=bind,source=“C:\Users\andre\AppData\Roaming\Storj\Identity2\Identity\storagenode”,destination=/app/identity --mount type=bind,source=“E:\StorjData”,destination=/app/config --name storagenode storjlabs/storagenode:latest

But the node is still misconfigured and my port remains closed.
Is there something i dont understand or that im missing?

Im well on the way to get disqualified - so kinda need to be quick and i am very much stuck.
Thanks in advance

You mean port forwarded 28968 to 192.168.0.199:28968 right?

Correct- now the new ISP server is down - so this might be on their end. I do belive i did everything correctly?
How many days/hours can i be “offline” before being disqualified?

About 10 days when it will start to make problems (online score less than 60%) so you should have enough time to resolve it.

Okay - sounds good! thanks alot

Make sure, your new ISP does not use CGNAT. Then you need another solution like a VPN.

Okay - ISP is working and i have internet again. I was able to setup my node on the new ip on my pi4 - but still no luck on my windows pc? any ideas?

Are you sure your IP have not changed?
My public IP usually changes after a router reboot, or hiccup on my ISP network.
My recommendation is to use a DDNS service.

My IP does not change - i paid for that. also whatsmyip is allways reporting the same.

He said: he got a fix IP

Is your RPI4 operates on a different port? Correct?

Shit just got weird. I removed my docker container for node number 2 (to focus on node 1 on windows gui). Then i rebooted and now the windows gui node is online but misc but still getting data.

yes - my windows pc has 2 nodes - one on docker and one on GUI - they used port 28967 and 28968

Correct - pi is 28969 so no problem there

Stop all malware protection in your router, if you have any… usualy from Trendmicro.
I had problems when I tried to use the same port 28967 to more than 1 node. Maybe you can try using different ports for each node, even in the docker run command, like 28968:28968 tcp and udp.

Well on my router i AM using different ports:

ip 198.168.0.199 is the windows machine

Use the same pairs in docker run command. And clear browser cookies, CTRL + F5, etc.

Sorry but what do i need to change here?

docker run -d --restart unless-stopped --stop-timeout 300 -p 28968:28967/tcp -p 28968:28967/udp -p 127.0.0.1:14003:14002 -e WALLET=“XX” -e EMAIL=“XXXX” -e ADDRESS=“83.89.251.XXX:28968” -e STORAGE=“10TB” --mount type=bind,source=“C:\Users\andre\AppData\Roaming\Storj\Identity2\Identity\storagenode”,destination=/app/identity --mount type=bind,source=“E:\StorjData”,destination=/app/config --name storagenode storjlabs/storagenode:latest

docker run -d --restart unless-stopped --stop-timeout 300 -p 28968:28968/tcp -p 28968:28968/udp

This part…

I just tried and still get the same error. :frowning:
