Native Tardigrade integration for Duplicati

We’ve been working on a native Tardigade integration for Duplicati. This is great news since Duplicati is one of the major open source, free backup utilities. It’s known and trusted.

The S3 gateway has had Duplicati support for a while, but we wanted to move away from the need to do manual installs and configuration, so decided to go with a native approach.

We have forthcoming documentation and a blog post to watch out for.

We would love to get some feedback from our community. Is the documentation on point? Anything missing in the documentation? Any bugs that we might have missed?

@web4yougmbhch I was reading your message on the phone but now you removed it. I assume you resolved your issue? How is your experience so far? Does it work?

I want to test it. However. The latest Docker Container did not have the Tardigrade integration. Have somebody a hint for me which Dockercontainer works ?

You need the canary tag.

@littleskunk The canary version also does not have the Tardigrade option

Are you sure you are running the canary release? You should see it in the frontend under the duplicati logo.

I am using linuxserver/duplicati:development because it allowes me to run duplicati as a non root user.

Yes everything OK. I had to fix-brocken install. And exept remote access to raspberry

@jensamberg here is what I have. I am using watchtower to keep all images up to date. Linux AMD64

Maybe you are running an old version but it is downloading the changelog from github?

@littleskunk I just recognize I am using the same image as you. However I have no Tardigrade
