Hi!
Just received my first payment on zkSync Era.
I haven’t found any way to make a swap without having ETH.
I know zkSync integrates a paymaster & gas abstraction feature but I can’t find any DEX that allows to use STORJ as a gas token.
So is there any way to swap STORJ tokens without having to buy ETH first on a centralized exchange?
Thanks!

Hi @smokemodel ,
Maybe some of these suggestions will meet your needs
You can navigate to their offering:
there are ways to switch the chain.
Hello! I recently saw that my last payment was entirely done via Zksync Era.
As I have 10 nodes, all setup with my Binance Storj address (and that worked well in previous Zksync Lite transfers), I am not sure what I am doing to get those tokens in my wallet.
From docs I learned that I need to get to zksync bridge and transfer all of them. I know it sounds silly, but I dont have a clue what to do in the bridge. Is there an address that I must send the fees so I can get storj tokens from L2 to L…
You may send STORJ tokens via L2 zkSync Era directly to the L2 deposit address of the exchange, if it supports zkSync Era deposits for STORJ token (you need to check yourself with the exchange ).
There are generally two ways to pay fee: using ETH or using STORJ. For the first you may click the Send button and provide an address (check the layer L1 or L2 and the exchange’s deposit address and make sure that they are accepting STORJ tokens to be deposited via the selected layer). If your wallet do…
Some steps here may help
I noticed some questions about exchanging Storj for fiat. Recently, I found myself in a situation where I wanted to move some financial resources from my zkSync Lite account. Below, I am presenting my way of doing it. I do not claim it is the best way, but I find it effective and convenient. It does not require KYC, and I think the fees are reasonable. It is also quite flexible.
I have a MetaMask wallet and an activated zkSync Lite account connected to it. I can check my zkSync Lite balance o…
Methods discussed in this thread as well
The whole question is in the title: what is the cheapest way to exchange tokens on the ZKSync wallet for USDT today? As I understand it, neither Binance nor other exchanges support input via ZKSync and it is necessary to change tokens, transferring them immediately to a wallet to top up the balance on the exchange?
Or do you need to first transfer them to your ETH wallet, and then from it to the exchange?

Thank you for the links.
Actually, it’s not what I need.
In the end, what I want is to swap some STORJ for ETH, anonymously (so no centralized exchange, or credit card based online service, etc.). So I need to get ETH without using a KYC or a centralized exchange.
Does anyone in here would agree to sell me some ETH (for STORJ)? I’d be willing to send STORJ first, if that helps (hoping the seller would send me ETH just after ^^).
Or to give me some ETH (on zkSync Era, for cheap transaction fees) that I would return back after swapping some STORJ for ETH?
Thanks
SyncSwap has some promo going on currently for gasless swaps.
Note the STORJ liquidity on zkSync Era is pretty poor ($350 TVL in the STORJ/ETH pool at the moment), so there will be noticeable slippage.
I don’t expect this problem to be solved any time soon; you are better off keeping things on L1 and/or having a CEX address being your payout address.

Thanks.
But syncswap doesn’t allow to pay gas fees with STORJ.
Right but since thy are giving you gasless swaps you can just buy like $1 in ETH without paying gas so that you’re set for a long time. Swap transactions are like $0.02 each.

Oh yes, you are right!
I tried before but since I couldn’t find STORJ token in the list of “gas tokens”, I thought it wasn’t possible.
Thank you very much
