No, we do not need a new satellite for every customer. The idea here is to start decentralizing the data/accounts onto many locations while we work further and further on fully decentralizing the satellites. It does not make much sense to put all users/customers into one satellite. We’ll keep expanding the amount of satellites!

But each satellite is its own network, so if something bad happens to it, those customers lose their data. I guess it is still better than all customers losing their data at once (single satellite), but not by much 
Unless there are plans to make it possible to upload data using satellite1 and later get the data using satellite2.
