I found a utility called port listener that listens on the port in question and will respond to pings. I suggest giving this a try. It will tell you if the problem is port related or storagenode related. If the storagenode isn’t working properly, it may not respond to ping requests. You should shut down the node (stop the service), then run the utility on port 52780. Then ping from yougetsignal to the VPN IP address and port. If it shows as open, we know it’s a node problem. If it shows as closed we know there is something else getting in the way.
