then this happens:
so… i break the raid… test the node … it works! (or it says it works (on the web its conected))
i say …“cool… the raid worked…”…so i try to mirror it again ! …
and this happens:
i make a partition for my fullcores (i had a full btc core yes … )
i make another partition and i realise i wont need it and deleted it and … it made 2 unpart spaces (asaf(as strange as fu"#$))
i proce with the repair … it starts to slow down… the drive starts to make a new noise…"i “pray” but it wont help… "
…after 4 or 5 hours … repair aborts!
i say my last words … it was still hot … but … nothing i could do! … i try to lay it down on both sides … lift it up… i even shake it a little in the end but … nope ;)!
im left with 1 4tb… no sno data nor rating … no cores walltes (but still recoverable by keys )
…meanwhile

This is not advisable on a system with 1 HDD. A Windows user would opt to format his C drive in case of failure. Such setup must have 2 partitions; OS and Data.
It’s never advisable to put STORJ and OS onto the same HDD. Not only does it make your system lag, it will also make your drive fail earlier because of the increased workload.
Agreed. But you do realize people are using Storj as an addition to their earnings by using free space on their mining rig’s HDD. I would speculate at least 50% and more of them are miners so to expect them having more than 1 HDD was a stretch.
yeah on a mining rig you are right. Doesn’t matter in that case. Do you really think 50% are miners?
But in every other case where you actually use your PC, you should not use storj on the same drive.
I would have agreed with this until about a decade ago. But since windows 8 there is a pretty great feature to reset your windows to a clean install while keeping your data. This feature was further improved with windows 10. I would say even partitioning a single HDD/SSD is now no longer needed and probably not advisable anymore as it would let you be less flexible with assigned space. Windows has generally been built to have everything in a single partition, with each version pushing you more and more towards having your data in user folders on the OS drive. Although recent windows update issues kind of threw a wrench into that approach by actually losing data in user folders for some users. But generally that is the approach they seem to want users to take.
true. but are they the same ? do that pays 5x or 1x? … because you are using 5x the “one connection” network bandwith in the same “basket”, i mean, in the same “pc” or room or even “building”; i see no long term data storage availability … because all drives will die at some point. … no ?¿
i think i have an issue ! …help !!! , is this a problem? … is it fixable or do i only have to wait to be aproved ? …is this because i used the same email ?
thank you.
