Storj Windows GUI offline New setup

I see your node as online.
Please, keep it running.
It should complete the vetting before it will get a full access to the network.
To got vetted it must pass 100 audits for each satellite.

ok I’ll just let it run and monitor it. Is there a average time for vetting you all can give? I also guess the errors I’m seeing in the logs aren’t really important?

Try to search here every error. If you found something new - please, create a separate topic.

Just a FYI still shows as offline from the Windows Dashboard GUI. The errors that I was seeing were listed on the errors page on your site. They didn’t seem to be anything that would cause it to be offline from what I was reading. How long typically does it take to get vetted?

Round a month I have read.

Thanks, I’ll keep waiting. Just concerned because it shows offline no usage for storage or bandwidth doesn’t display node ID or anything on my windows gui dashboard besides offline. All numbers are at 0. The log is moving along and creating entries maybe there is a bug with the gui?

It’s offline now.
Please, show your port forwarding rule.

Can your ISP block the traffic? Like this:

Port Forwarding rule on ASUS Router:
Computer running Node = 192.168.90.7
Service Name = Storj_V3
External Port = 28967
Internal IP Address = 192.168.90.7
Protocol = Both

This is setup like all my other port forwarding rules. I have plex running with forwards and confirmed working my old v2 storj client is working as well with forwards.

I have Verizon FIOS but am running off my own router I haven’t encountered a time yet where they block anything.

Also I checked the port using the link in this thread and the port still shows as open

Now it is online again. Weird.

PS C:\Users\Administrator>

Looks like i have same problem.
Outside port is opened.

before this i had error, then i made outgoing rule for application can comunicate with outside.

looks like you solved your problem with port already:

Anything in my logs as to why its never shown online? Or do you not show online until vetted? In that case about a month from now I should see online?

Hello.

Yes Now it show online, but strange it shou 2,7 GB used trafic but 0 byte alocated.
In logs i find contenc canceled, lot of them like this
2019-10-15T06:57:55.897+0300 ERROR server gRPC stream error response {“error”: “piecestore protocol: rpc error: code = Canceled desc = context canceled”, “errorVerbose”: "piecestore protocol: rpc error: code = Canceled desc = context canceled\n\tstorj.io/storj/storagenode/piecestore.(*Endpoint).doUpload:276\n\tstorj.io/storj

There could be something in your logs. It’s worth checking. With the 0.23.3 update you should now see your node online right away again. That goes for unvetted nodes as well.

Try all steps mentioned here:

I still show as offline. My port has never shown as closed. I have the newer version of 0.23.3. I see activity in my logs of uploads and downloads. However the dashboard never shows anything but offline and the stats are all at 0. It doesn’t even show me my nod id or version on the dashboard. This is all on a Windows OS with the local firewall disabled. I did notice this in my config file:

the public address of the node, useful for nodes behind NAT

contact.external-address: “”

operator email address

operator.email: “”

operator wallet address

operator.wallet: “”

public address to listen on

server.address: :28967

These seemed different from the rest of the config as they weren’t commented out but looked to me like they should have more info filled out. I do see my email and wallet address in there as well as my dyndns address in port in other locations.

Is your external port different from the 28967? If so, you should either change it in the server.address option, or forward your different external port to the 28967.
This is especially true, if you have a second node running on the same host. In the last case you must have a different external and internal ports.

However, if you see an audit traffic, your node is definitely online.
Please, check your CLI and web dashboards.

In case of web dashboard try to force reload the page.

I am using the default port of 28967. It always shows as open using the link provided to test. I only have one node running and only that application uses that port. Just never see anything in the Web Dashboard. If I am running the windows version of the node how do I check the CLI dashboard?

When you installed software it was ascked to put IP and Port did you writen your Outside IP :28967 ?

Yes he did:
