Storj Windows GUI offline New setup

Hello.
100 audits it is 100 hours of running?

100 audits it is 100 audits. It’s not related to the time, because satellites should give your node to the clients to upload something what could be audited later. Secondarily, the satellites check your node periodically, but the period is depends on number of nodes, i.e - random.
You can see a number of audits via API:

Where can i see that my node is valideted all 100 audits?
And i see trafic only from 1 satelite. this mean that other not doing audit.

I still show as offline, my dashboard show no info about my node. My nodes been online almost 4 days now and the dashboard never displays any info. My port always shows as open when I check it with the URL mentioned in this thread. Is there something I am missing?

Did you allowad app on windows firewall for outgoing connections?

Windows firewall is disabled, port forwarded. No other nodes or applications using the port.

why you used on router firewall port 4000?

That’s the old storj v2 rule. The new one is the bottom line that says Storj_V3 port 28967

when you instaled v3 on windows and was need to put ip and port did you inserted rdftp.dyndns-ip.com:28967?

I don’t know why your dashboard isn’t working, but since you actually have transfers in the logs it seems like it is a dashboard specific issue. What response do you get if you look at the dashboard api as outlined here?

Ignore the part about port mapping, with the windows version you should just be able to open the mentioned urls in your browser.

If I understand correctly I just run http://127.0.0.1:14002 in a browser. When I do that I get this:

Dashboard%20Storj

This is what I have been running and getting nothing show in it.

Sorry, I should have been a bit clearer. I meant specifically these.

http://127.0.0.1:14002/api/dashboard

http://127.0.0.1:14002/api/satellite/118UWpMCHzs6CvSgWd9BfFVjw5K9pZbJjkfZJexMtSkmKxvvAW (and the same for other satellite IDs)

I’m just wondering if these underlying API’s do give you results.

If I open those in a browser I get asked if I want to download an json file

I figured out what it is! After getting prompted for the json file I started wondering if it was my browser. Opened in Chrome and everything looks good. The old browser was IE on Server 2019. Feel stupid for not checking this sooner.

Wow, we took the long way around to that one. I have actually heard before that IE was causing problems, but I guess it slipped my mind and I hadn’t seen what the broken dashboard in IE looked like. Glad you figured it out though!

Edit: I created a GitHub issue for this. This should either be fixed or the lack of support for IE should be displayed as a message. It shouldn’t just silently fail like it does now.

Thanks for all the assistance. Should I shutdown my old v2 node or keep them both running for now?

Please keep v2 running as there are still a few customers using it
