But you are correct, the ToS of the Storj platform has been updated.

IIRC Storj’s website is using CMS and there are features that can send a notification when a specific page is changed/modified.

I’m not sure about that. But there are browser extensions which may check pages for updates. I have used them before.

You may also submit a feature request there: DCS feature requests - voting or on our GitHub.

I shared the feedback with the team.

Hi @nerdatwork, there are some opensource tool to help check changedetection. I’m not interested in TOS so can’t help you monitor it.

So what is the change?^^

You may use the Internet Archive to check that, pretty easy

The current snapshot after the change is not available, but I hope you get an idea.

It’s just easy: if you’re not notified, you don’t have to comply.

o_O

You can’t be seriously suggesting every user do something that should have been done once by the team, and create dependency on unrelated third party…

I’m pretty sure sneakily introduced changes are not enforceable, regardless of “we reserve the right to change this from time to time” clause.

I mean, while there is no other option yet.

“The ESIGN Act requires businesses to provide customers with a clear and conspicuous statement of any changes to their agreements and obtain customer consent to those changes.”

Indeed, there has even been a lawsuit about the fact there was an article in a ToS saying that users should check it for update from time to time. It was considered void by the court.

But I will not say too much about it, otherwise this topic is also closed for the fact taking a juridical view instead of agreeing to the great Leader

Sorry about closing the topic about breaking the rule of /24 subnet. You just tried to replace the actual breaking or rules, including ToS, with a juridical dancing around the fact.

However, all your thoughts are shared with the team, thus - thank you for your opinions.

I didn’t reject the idea about notification though and you have my vote.
