does anyone know what I have to change in the config .yaml to keep a ongoing copy of the node logs forever for later review thanks
The answer to this question is already documented here: https://documentation.storj.io/resources/frequently-asked-questions#how-do-i-redirect-my-logs-to-a-file
For anyone running GNU/Linux …
There’s a program called logrotate which should available in every major distro’s repo if not already installed by default. It’s possible to configure logrotate to keep nicely archived logs divided into months for troubleshooting or statistical measurements.
However, I haven’t run MS Windows in almost 2 decades, so I’m not familiar with what comparable options there might be on that particular OS.
