My first node has been working fine for more than 2 years.
I just started the second one with the help of Toolbox, but the second NODE is offline. The second port 28968 is open.
The following error message appears in the log file

@Vadim Hi i have a strange problem with your toolbox. I have change in the file yaml and in the configuration of toolbox the path for the log with editing the configuration. I have stored the logs in the new ssd for my nodes but when i update the nodes with the automatic procedure the tool not update the nodes and it don’t create the backup of logs with automatic procedure. the nodes are installed in the default directory on c:\Program Files\Storj.… and this directory is on the other ssd where is installed the OS. Have you any suggestions for theese problems? Thanks in advance

if this will show that port is opened, check you identity, did you signed second identity after generation with storj token?

mean that you specified a wrong path for the identity or data. It also possible, that you provided a wrong port for the second node. It should be a different one from the default TCP+UDP 28967.
You also need to update the server.address option in the config.yaml with the new port. And probably all others: How to add an additional drive? - Storj Docs

To be honest, i havent time to do it, it is in the list, but I have now so much work.
Main problem that log location is embedded in code to exe location in standard location.

I’m about to launch my second node (same location) and I have one quick question for you:

In the official Storj docs, it says that a second node can only be started via CLI, but then it also says “your node may require extra monitoring”.

So, my question is:

By using your software, are we somehow sidestepping the use of Docker and, therefore, removing this issue?

Since you are at the begining, I would say, stop and rethink the farm. Go with linux (ubuntu server), docker and ext4. And before you start, fastformat the drives as 4K native if they support it (like Seagate Exos).
I saw too many complaints about Windows nodes, and NTFS is limited to 16TB drives on 4K format.

it says that there is no official installer for second node, my app can install it. I have up to 17 on some servers. But second node you have to update manually. it will not be update automatically as firs one.

Is there anything I should be particularly mindful of when switching my existing 18TB node (which is full of data) to Linux?
I’m planning on running Linux within my Windows 10 (link) - any potential issues there?
Does this make running multiple nodes much easier e.g can be done without using custom software?
On the docs, it says that it doesn’t recommend docker, but is this only in the case of using it with Windows? (See screenshot below)
