When im looking at my stats it looks like im getting let say 30TB ingress but only 10-15TB is written to disk, looking at the trash its no near that. What is happening with all the ingress?
For example one of my nodes was 6.53TB at June 13, today its 6,73. Total ingress so far this period is 1 june to 28 june is 1.66TB split that in half 0,8TB only 25% of the ingress is saved on disk?
you dont win all the races, but in process you download pieces even those that you dont win.
Ah i see thanks for clarification. How much does your nodes increase in size per month? Are you seeing the same numbers?
Note if this is only ⅓ then you’re losing way more races than the average. You probably want to run the success rate script for a quick measurement.
we all loosing a lot from US sattelite, just because it is very fare and packet takes long time to travel. More locals nodes are more faster. I have NVME buffer even like this there is lot of loses.
This probably has nothing to do with the success rate but rather with this “bug”
deleted the logfile (too big) and checked now under 10min of log and had an avg of 88% successrate on 5 different nodes.
