In recent days the number of audits has significantly dropped and today there are none at all. This happens on all my nodes (v.1.141.2). Everything else is functioning as normal. May be something broken at satellites?
Glad someone else has noticed this - I was going to give it a few more days before posting myself.
Possibly related, but the reputation/online scores don’t seem to be getting updated either - I had a bit of an outage for a disk replacement more than a month ago, and have been patiently waiting for the scores to recover, but they’ve not shifted at all since 1.141.2
I’ve already tried restarting a node, but no difference observed so far (although it’s only been 12 hours)

I remember storj has changed parameters for vetting because it was way too fast. Vetting for US1 was only one day where it should be one month.

Confirmed. All my nodes are 0 audits/24 hours

Maybe they stopped audits because repair queue became too big.

Possible - I had 6x increased traffic the entire night from Saturday to Sunday.

The audits are back. But unfortunately the egress-traffic dropped to 1/4 of the previous one, all the weeks before. Now there is even an higher ingress traffic than egress, this was also not the case alle the weeks back.
I’m always envious of @Th3Van hardware: such a clean setup of headnode+JBODs: so dense, and still balanced across the HBAs. Most of us are still trying to tape together a couple USB HDDs to earn a few tokens

I’ve been studying good ole @Th3Van for some time. Not only is he a countryman to me, but he’s the guy with the most balanced and optimized setup in my opinion.
It’s clear, of course, that the larger your system is, the more economies of scale you get, but I really do envy his setup.
I’m currently rocking a ~160TB Synology with for storage, and a whitebox ESXi node for compute. My next build is in the very late stages of being completed … in various shopping carts on various sites, but it will be much closer to @Th3Van. Headunit; JBOD; No virtulization; all bare metal. It’s going to be great, and it would not have been possible without the wonderful writeups of his.

No repair without a prior audit. Repair traffic should return soon.

They are separate workers, I guess that the repaired pieces should go somewhere, so higher ingress in some cases are very anticipated.
Back to audits… Now that audits resumed I see roughly twice as much audits compared to days before the stop. Also I am missing stats for lost segments. What does it mean? Is the network in serious trouble?
I saw a bunch of audits yesterday (24th Nov), but nothing for today.
Also still waiting for my online score to recover from a (self induced) downtime 33 days ago
