Win GUI Storj Node Toolbox

I had a config folder S:\Install\… now S:\Install\Storage Node\…
That error is gone, but Toolbox is still looking for config.yaml from the old location!
I erased the Toolbox folder and extracted fresh files from the archive file. To start fresh!
But Toolbox still remembered the old location! Does Toolbox create some files outside its extracted folder?

Wow zombie thread! I’m still getting different versions reported despite having only the single .EXE, so must be a memory thing. Seems to sort itself fine since I’ve had zero downtime since this thread was active. Here’s my output for kicks.

Yes it write file to temporary folder in appdata to remember all this thing

A post was split to a new topic: PowerShell script to setup multiple nodes

Hello - im looking at the newest release of this tool and was hoping it could help updating some nodes software?

i tried the “start” on updater service but get an error.

When i press “start”:

Maybe i am using it wrong.

Thanks in advance.

you cant start it if it already running.it show it in right upper conner. if you want restart it first need to stop it. otherwise it will try update every 12-72 h, randomly.

looks like storj rolled out 136.4 but “https://github.com/storj/storj/releases/download/vv1.136.4/storagenode_{os}_{arch}.zip"},"rollout”:,with error, so it cant update, I made support tiket about it, so just need to wait they fix it.

Okay - and if its running, it should automatically update the other nodes? If so, that is awesome!

Yes, this last version made fully automated.

Hey Vadim - i am trying to install a new node but have some problems with the software:

I try to install new node that should land in folder storj21

Translated is:
The file “c/program files/storj20/storage node/storagenode.exe” allready exist

And the reason the file allready exist is because i have a node running in storj20 folder.
so i dont know why the program dont try to make folder storj21?

Any ideas?

It do not whatch maps directly, it count ammount of nodes and make+1

So what do i do if i for example:

Have created 10 nodes

deleted a folder in the middle- lets say folder storj4
and then want to create a new node?
how can i “fix” this count?

did you deleted also services?

I usually dont delete them, if I want make more, making them instead of lost one, just put there new identity, new path to hdd, delete dbs.

Yes.

20 chars chars chars

Hmm okay.

Im not sure how i can fix this but will give it a try.

did you moved to hashstore? how much RAM and nodes do you have? on 1 server?

I did not move to hashstore.

My biggest server has 320GB ram :face_with_peeking_eye:

can you check this, how much Virtual memory your nodes consume
