April 11, 2023, Ethereum Layer 1, zkSync, and final Polygon payouts for the month of March are complete

Hello! Payouts for the completed month of March are complete.

If you haven’t had a chance to see our update on SNO payouts, please go see that first. As mentioned, nothing has yet changed, so March payments remained the same as every prior month.

For layer 1 payments, we paid 2,569 unique wallet addresses. As before, there is no specific minimum payment threshold but it appears the pipeline was able to pay out for people who earned $9 or more.

For zkSync payments, we paid 1,816 unique wallet addresses. Everyone who opted into zkSync got a 10% bonus!

As an update, we have begun work to switch from zkSync Lite (formerly called zkSync 1.0) to zkSync Era (formerly called zkSync 2.0)! zkSync will be our exclusive layer 2 provider going forward, and so March payouts are the last payout to utilize Polygon. The remaining 33 of you on Polygon can opt in to zkSync with this documentation: ZkSync Payments - Storj Node Operator Docs. With no action, you will start to receive layer 1 payments going forward.

Across all layers, we paid 4,398 unique addresses. As always, if you have more questions, please make sure you’ve read through our mega FAQ.

The policies put in place regarding bonuses for nodes operated in Ukraine are still in place.

I hope you will advise the changes to payments BEFORE SNO’s incur node running costs during the month and not at the end of the payment period after the costs have been incurred.
